Summer Internships and Student Volunteer Program

The Southwest National Primate Research Center (SNPRC) proudly offers many educational opportunities throughout the year.

Undergraduate and Graduate Student Internships

SNPRC provides educational and training opportunities for a limited number of students during an eight-week summer session. The dates for the 2015 session are June 8 through July 31. Both undergraduate and graduate (Ph.D. and veterinary) students at accredited academic institutions are eligible to participate. Mentorship information is available.

The application deadline for this year’s student internships has passed. Please check back again in the fall for more information about next year.

Student Volunteer Program

SNPRC provides educational volunteer opportunities for a limited number of students throughout the year. Students must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in school. We will match student volunteers with appropriate mentors. However, the availability of a particular mentor is not guaranteed.
